About Us

Kirkman Park Elementary School serves approximately 300 students in a pre-kindergarten thru 5th grade public school setting. Kirkman Park is one of two Spanish Immersion language programs offered in Guilford County Schools. Students participating in the Spanish Immersion program learn the North Carolina standard course of study entirely in Spanish.

Our small size gives us the opportunity to offer individualized and personalized instruction. Our proximity to High Point University affords our staff the ability to further their professional education and also gives our students the opportunity to engage with many of the university students.

With a firm belief that character education should be taught as earnestly as the core curriculum, we do more than just teach reading, mathematics and science lessons. We lay the foundation for all academic and life skills our students will need once they leave us and move on to secondary school. We welcome you to come and visit Guilford County Schools’ hidden gem and invite you to catch our Cougar PRIDE!
